Non-woven belts, also known as surface conditioning tools, are used to clean, blend, deburr, and finish surfaces of aluminum, stainless steel, or steel. Though initially seeming expensive, these belts offer longevity and superior finishes. Due to their fibrous nature, they minimize loading and head build-up, ensuring longer operating times and consistent results. This belt features a reinforced scrim backing. Surface Conditioning belts come in four distinct grit levels, indicated by color: brown (60 grit), red (80-120 grit), blue (150-180 grit), and grey (220 grit). They excel in smoothing and removing burrs from materials like stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, fiberglass, plastics, and nonferrous alloys, delivering consistent finishes in fewer steps.
