1923 large-size $1 silver certificate. This is a great entry-level note for anybody who would like to start collecting paper money. Friedberg number 238, with the signatures being Woods/White. This note has the typical 3 vertical folds (1 in the center and 2 half way to the edges), no horizontal fold, and no pinholes. It does have moderate soiling, so it has some stories to tell (wish I knew what they were :) This note would grade at a VF-20 / VF-25.
