The 3M Scott Sight is a hands-free thermal imaging system for firefighters, enabling clear vision through thick smoke. Mounted on a mask, it offers high-resolution, high-quality images, allowing entire teams to use thermal imaging. The miniaturized, adjustable display inside an AV-3000 HT facepiece lets firefighters view images without using their hands. A single power-off button controls both the display and camera, while a one-second push powers it on. The camera also has a standby mode. Powered by everyday AAA batteries, it features enhanced battery performance and an accelerometer for automatic shut-off. A mobile configuration app allows customization of brightness, icon layouts, temperature displays, and display colors. The product is approved to UL913 Class I, Division 1, ATEX Zone 0, and AV3000-HT approved to EN 136.
