This is a Contax RX body, released in 1994.
I bought this body a few years ago at a used camera market because I wanted to use Carl Zeiss T* lenses, which were said to capture even the air.
The exterior has minor scratches, but is in relatively good condition for its age without any noticeable damage. The viewfinder and mirror are free of mold and fogging. There is no mirror misalignment (see photo 15). There is some bleeding around the LCD display (see photo 11).
The shutter, light meter, aperture operation, focus aid, film advance and rewind, and self-timer all function well. Photos 18 and 19 are scans of film taken with a Contax 300mm f/4 and a 35mm f/2.8 lens using this camera.
Included accessories are the body cap and instruction manual.
This is a body-only listing, so a separate Yashica/Contax mount lens and a 2CR5 battery are required.
