Farpoint's "D" size dovetail adapter (DA plate) is the magic part of the dovetail system. The DA plate quickly mounts on dovetail bars and is secured or released with a quick turn of the hand knob. The DA plate is part of the ring and counterweight systems. We offer the DA plate individually for your own creative uses. The DA plate has pattern of 7 counterbored holes for 1/4"-20 socket head cap screws which allows the attachment of your items for quick release mounting on your dovetail bar equipped telescopes.
