Ginga Tetsudo, a phantom group known as "70s Sunny Day Service" for their sophisticated, urban folk sound directly descended from Happy End. This complete collection includes their only album (1975), four singles, and live recordings from before their debut [from 1974 HOBO'S CONCERTS VII]. The album was produced by Hiroshi Yanagida, and the fresh sound of James Taylor, the harmonies of CSN&Y, and the ironclad rhythm section of Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tsugutoshi Goto create an evergreen sound that colors eternal youth.

With no filler tracks, this is a masterpiece, including the beautiful chorus work and the exciting beat that warms the heart in "Omoidashite Goran" (02), the popular song "Haru wa Yukkuri to" (03) with its guitar cutting reminiscent of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" and sweet vocals and melody, and the coffee song "Coffee Mind" (04) like a warm spring sunshine. It's truly a phantom collector's item that connects Happy End and Sunny Day Service.

Ginga Tetsudo: Formed around 1971 by leader Yoshio Maki. They won the national championship in a band contest hosted by Bunka Broadcasting. In 1975, they made their album debut with "Ginga Tetsudo" from Nippon Phonogram (now Universal) and released two singles before disbanding. All members were responsible for lyrics, composition, and vocals, and their advanced technique and harmony work earned them high praise as the second Happy End and a Japanese CSN&Y. Recently, original members Maki and Shuji Honda have been active as GINTE2.
