This upcycled glovelet is handmade by my mom. She's been sewing since she was very young and now that she's retired, she's exploring sewing in a more creative way, rather than doing it to make ends meet.
The base is from a sweater - black ribbed with a touch of sparkles, repurposed to be worn as a cuff. There are bits and pieces of lace and a printed fabric that peeks through the lace.
We use mostly fabric remnants and tiny bits of lace that would normally be thrown away. With a little imagination, we give new life to these bits and pieces and they avoid the waste stream for years to come.
This is made to be worn covering most of your hand, but can definitely be worn higher up for more of a sleeve/bracelet look. This would make a great tattoo cover up.
About 7.5" long. It's a stretchy sweater material, so it will fit most everyone. I have approximately a 6.5" wrist, so you can see the fit in the pictures for a 6.5" wrist.
