ACP's High Gloss Twill Carbon Fiber Sheet is a superior decorative laminate, boasting a deep, glossy, three-dimensional finish. It's constructed with layers of unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg, laid up at a 0/90 degree orientation, and features a single layer of 22 twill carbon fiber prepreg on each surface. This design offers classic carbon fiber aesthetics with enhanced strength and stiffness. Semi-flexible yet rigid like cardstock, it can bend in one direction, making it suitable for flat surfaces or pipes. Once cured, it cannot be reshaped, limiting its use to simple curves. One side showcases a high gloss finish, with options for the other side including high gloss, matte, or adhesive backing. Our proprietary Autoclave curing process ensures consistent, high-quality sheets. Manufactured with 100% real carbon fiber pre-impregnated with high-quality epoxy resin, these sheets are cured at high temperatures and pressure, resulting in strong, rigid products that resist re-shaping. Unlike wet layup, our process yields flat, lightweight sheets with minimal voids, waves, or buildups. These first-quality sheets feature a smooth, low-porosity laminate with a mirror-like finish, thanks to a clear, resin-rich carbon fiber prepreg. Our special epoxy resin blend guarantees durability, and the built-in UV inhibitor in the 22 twill prepreg resists UV rays in outdoor applications. No fillers, gel coats, or surface treatments are needed to enhance appearance. Uses include decorative applications, dashboards, radio face plates, guitars, instrument panels, license plate holders, clipboards, and door panels.
