Joe Shute trolling lure are top producing heads each and every year. They catch everything from tuna and wahoo to mahi and marlin. There are two styles of heads; a classic round and a slightly oblong keel version.
These Joe Shute lures are rigged up "pin-rig" style for an easy addition of ballyhoo. The Joe Shute - Ballyhoo combo is a staple and run on most top boats in the northeast.
All lures are rigged with top quality component and are packaged in a nice lure bag.
The keel weighted version is designed with more of the weight on the bottom side of the head allowing the lure to run in a more up-right position in the water helping the ballyhoo or Ronz track better. The head of the lure has a 1/2in opening in the rear of the head which is designed for those fishermen that like to use a ballyhoo spring. This opening will allow the spring to sit over half way up inside the hole, effectively locking the ballyhoo in place. This head can also be used with a standard pin rig or a pin-less rig as well.
