It can function as a turn signal (flowing yellow light,that is 3500K 1200Lumens) , a safety warning hazard light (switchback amber light,that is 3500K 1200Lumens), and also as a daytime running light/DRL (white light,that is 6500K 1200Lumens).

When installing, you will have to remove the mirror glass and since you already have them off, you might as well add-on the wide-angle mirror glass available in chrome finish or blue chrome finish! These wide angle mirrors feature a turn signal function and also retain blind spot monitoring. They do not retain auto dimming though as that is a patented technology from Original factory. Blue mirrors will give auto dimming effect at night.
