The 14" Thin Kerf Diamond Blade, Segmented, General Purpose (E-16748) is ideal for smoother, faster cutting in masonry materials including concrete, reinforced concrete, block, pavers, and brick, with up to two times faster cutting when compared to standard diamond blades. It’s ideal for use with a battery-powered power cutter, including the Makita 80V max (40V max X2) XGT Brushless 14" Power Cutter (model GEC01, sold separately), with up to 80% more cuts per charge over standard diamond blades. Made with high quality diamonds, Diamond Blades can perform cuts in dry or wet conditions for added versatility. There is a u-shaped notch in each segment that efficiently ejects dust from the work area for a smoother and faster cutting experience. Ventilation holes are engineered to keep the blade cool during operation to ensure smoother cutting action and to reduce operator fatigue. An optimum bond matrix provides a faster, longer lasting, and smoother cutting diamond blade. Diamond Blades feature a 3D pattern diamond grid where each diamond is placed in an even 3-dimensional array for unparalleled performance in blade life and cutting speed.
