The shutter fires, but the mirror stays up.
If you remove the body mount and lower the mirror, the shutter will fire again.
I don't know the actual shutter speed.
This might be for someone who knows about shutter units.
I'll also include a motor drive.
The FM2 is a manual camera that you wind by hand, but with a motor drive, you can shoot 24 exposures, 27 exposures, or more with two cameras and swap them out quickly, or you can shoot 36-37 exposures in an instant. It's truly a dream item.
