A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring for identification. The Gut side must screw into a cut thread of a workpiece manually, without extra force. If not possible, the thread fails to meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can screw in manually up to two turns. Beyond that, the thread is considered subpar. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to all workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a Werkskalibrierschein. Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
