This is a chance to own something of real age and historical value. This beautiful antique piece is a Sukhothai buddha tablet made of bronze, that was likely gilded when it was created.
In the 1950s, there was a lot of these unearthed from under a temple in Thailand. In order to raise funds to pay for renovations to the temple, some of these plaques were sold off to tourists. In near perfect condition, this still has the original mounting on the back and the frame looks to be mid 1900's. This piece is hard to find, especially in this condition.
