Product Description 3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressings can be used to cover and protect catheter sites and wounds, to maintain a moist environment for wound healing, and to secure devices to the skin. Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressings are made with a thin, semi-permeable film that enables long wear time and full site visibility to minimize unnecessary dressing changes. From the Manufacturer 3M™Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Dressing Frame Style 1629 is a transparent film dressing designed for protecting skin and wound sites, and securing devices to skin, even in the presence of moderate amounts of moisture. The dressing consists of a thin film backing with a non-latex, hypoallergenic adhesive. It is breathable, allowing good oxygen and moisture vapor exchange. It is also waterproof and impermeable to liquids, bacteria, and viruses.* Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Dressing, with the frame delivery system, allows maximum versatility as it can be cut to any shape and size. Dressing conforms to the body and flexes with skin, offering increased patient comfort. Tegaderm transparent film dressing allows easy monitoring of wounds without the need to remove the dressing.
