A heavy duty, flexible, all weather flashing and joist tape to extend the life of decking substructures, with a strong superior seal that prevents water penetration and protects joist lumber from rot. Select a tape width that allows for overhang on each side and apply to the top of a joist or beam using firm pressure (preferably with a hand roller) to ensure adequate adhesion. It’s best to apply this tape to clean, dry lumber. Use PRO-Tac tape to protect the top of joists before deck installation, as flashing for ledger board attachment to homes, or to protect exposed/raw end-grain.
