Specially designed for industrial applications and pipelines in high-vibration environments, this heavy-duty, grit-free pipe sealant features finely homogenized PTFE particles that fill thread cracks and imperfections to ensure leak-proof seals. The result is a leak-free, pressure-tight joint that can withstand the demands of industrial piping systems--including those carrying air and gases, corrosives, freons, fuels, oils, petroleum, propane, solvents, steam, sugar, or water. Formulated for versatility, this pipe thread sealant works with all metal and plastic pipes, including PVC, CPVC, ABS, polypropylene, and nylon. It has been tested and is monitored on an ongoing basis to assure its chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold, BlazeMaster, and Corzan pipes and fittings. Blue Seal also double-functions as a lubricant to enable easy disassembly without stripping threads. And thanks to its zero VOC content, it helps promote a better working environment for pipe repairers. This pipe thread sealant is not recommended for oxygen, fluorine, or liquid sodium systems.
